Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney, born Amal Alamuddin from Lebanon, is a Lebanese as well as a British barrister who was an advocate for human rights for a long time. A graduate of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her extensive and impressive career in the fields of international law and human rights has earned her acclaim internationally. Her clients include many notable nation-states including Armenia and the struggle it has to have the Turkish government recognize that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged and married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a well-known name in popular entertainment. Before this, she had established herself as a household name by the legal profession for her ability to represent clients.
